Northcliff-Hermanus
Northcliff is situated in the Western Cape in South Africa. It is nearby to the very popular holiday town, Hermanus. It is close to all amenities and there are many attractions to keep the whole family entertained.
Attractions:
One of the great attractions in the area is the Walker Bay Nature Reserve. It is a scenic stretch of coastline and the reserve offers a 24km hiking trail, angling, swimming and picnicking to mention only a few. It is suitable for the whole family. The reserve also has a variety of wildlife and flora to add to its naturally beautiful surroundings. Another reserve to visit is the Fernkloof Nature Reserve, you will enjoy diverse ranges from coastal landscapes to mountain ranges. Along the walking trails you will enjoy the fauna and flora. Fernkloof also has a farmers market each Saturday starting at 7:30am. The Fernkloof Farmers Market has approximately 30 stalls with a variety of home made goodies to offer its visitors. Make sure to arrive early as the market is popular. If golfing is your sport, then the Hermanus Golf Course is a must. Whether it’s to play a round or to hit some practise balls and keep your swing in shape while on holiday, this is the place to be. The greens are superbly manicured and the scenic views are a bonus. It is a popular course amongst local and international visitors.
Climate:
Northcliff is situated in the Western Cape and enjoys a Mediterranean climate. The winter months are cold, windy and wet and the summer months are warm to hot and dry.
