Musina (Messina) is a suburb in Limpopo and is well known for the discovery of copper and is the centre of a large mining area.

Panorama Route is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa and it runs along the Blyde River Canyon. There are many exciting activities available such as mountain climbing which allows for spectacular gorge views and hiking trails. Another destination not to be missed is the Mapungubwe National Park which is a world heritage site and here you will get to see elephant, eland, giraffe, zebra, lion, hyena and many more animals and bird species. Musina (Messina) is also nearby to the largest and most beautiful private reserves in South Africa, Mashatu Game Reserve and it has the second longest river in Africa, the Limpopo river. You will enjoy the reserve as it offers many activities and you will see a variety of animals such as elephant, cheetah, giraffe and buck and also a large variety of bird species including the beautiful flamingo.
