Blackheath is a beautiful quiet suburb in Johannesburg. Its approximately 6km from Johannesburg City Centre.

Cresta Centre would be the closest shopping mall to Blackheath where you would find most of your shopping and banking facilities. Zoo Lake is a nearby park with a central pond, this is suitable for the whole family to either spend the day relaxing or playing a game of bowls or tennis. There are also row boats available for a relaxing time on the lake. Rosebank African Craft Market is full of local arts and crafts and is open daily until 17h00.

Blackheath has a moderate climate with warm summer months with most of its rainfall as thunderstorms and the winter months are very cold evenings with cool days.
