Pelindaba
Pelindaba is in the North West Province of South Africa and is South Africas main Nuclear Research Centre.
Attractions:
Pelindaba is near to one of the most popular holiday destinations amongst locals and international visitors, Hartebeespoort Dam where the whole family will be kept busy all day long with a huge variety of watersports to choose from such as water skiing, windsurfing and para-sailing or you could just relax and take a ferry boat cruise on the dam. There is a cable car up the Magaliesberg where there is hang-gliding available for the more adventurous visitors and much more fun and entertainment to offer the whole family. The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre is also nearby and here you will get to see the cheetahs that are protected and bred in the centre. Also there are vultures, hyena and wilddog that are protected and kept at the centre. There are guided tours available for visitors. Pelindaba also offers a team building adventure which is available to anyone from companies to kiddies parties. It is guaranteed fun and excitement with abseiling, quad biking, river rafting and hiking to name only a few.

Pelindaba enjoys warm to hot summer months with most rainfall as afternoon thunderstorms and cool to cold winter months.
