Surrounded by sand, ocean and nature reserves Die Dam is one of those places for people who like to get away! And when we say get away, this is away. Far from the hustle and bustle of the cities, busy roads and sirens, the only sounds you will hear at Die Dam are the sounds of the birds, the crickets and the crashing waves. Long walks along the unspoilt beach, sitting quietly watching the various bird species or relaxing on the shore with a line in the water, Die dam is the best spot to just chill. This small coastal area is 200km Cape Town, somewhere on the coastline between Gansbaai and Struisbaai. It's one of those places that you can't just pass through, it's a define stop over or even longer, one of those places where leaving brings a tear to your eye.
